HDPE is a kind of high crystallinity, non-polar thermoplastic resin. The appearance of the original HDPE is milky white, and it is translucent to a certain extent in the thin section. HDPE has tensile strength, wear resistance, good electrical insulation, and water absorption. It has low resistance and poor aging resistance, but the heat distortion temperature is low under stress. It is insoluble in any organic solvent at room temperature, and is resistant to corrosion by acid, alkali and various salts. The film has low permeability to water vapor and air and low water absorption.
Due to this feature, the plastic HDPE bottles made of it are widely used in various industries. Such as plastic bottles (food containers) containing calcium tablets, very large plastic storage tanks in factories or turnover boxes (cans) of plastic buckets and boxes, bottles and cans containing cosmetics and daily necessities of chemicals, gasoline tanks, plastic garbage box (even plastic fake flowers for decoration).
In addition to bottles and cans, there are blown film products: food packaging bags, grocery shopping bags, etc. Extruded products: pipes and fittings, mainly used in gas transportation, public water and chemical transportation, etc.
